Today some sensible Enviro-Group leaders came to talk to the whole junior school about the worm bins and the worm buckets.

We learned about what can go in them and what can not.  Cody T said, “Apple cores are OK but orange peels are not Ok – they kill the worms”

We learned about the uses of ‘worm tea’ as a fertiliser.  Caesar said, “The worm tea makes flowers grow bigger and be colourful in the sunshine.”

Thank you girls, you were also great role models and answered you their questions thoughtfully.
