BBPS is excited to be involved in the Healthy Howick Programme again this year. We will be receiving 14 more fruit trees to plant and maintain in our school grounds. This makes our total number of fruit trees in our orchard to be 81!!!!

Last Thursday 18th of August, two keen Year 5  Enviro Councillors, Mulan and Charlotte from Room 2 and 3, attended the launch at Kings Plant Barn, Botany Road. There were many schools represented and several key local Howick Board Councillors. The joint initiative between Kings Plant Barn and the Howick Local Board means that BBPS students can learn how to plant, maintain and harvest our own organic and home-grown fruit.

The Enviro students are organising a small working bee on September 11th between 11 and 2pm. Any offer of help can be emailed to Mrs Riach or leave your details with the office.IMG_4550 IMG_4557
