In room 17 we have been learning about the Olympics.  We wanted to learn about Dylan Kennett.

Dylan Kennett is a New Zealand racing cyclist.   He was born on the 8th of December, 1994 in Christchurch.   He came first place in cycling 2015 UCI Track Cycling World Championships when he was twenty one years old.  He came 8th in the Omnium cycling at the Rio Olympics this year.  His time was 4:20.18.  He didn’t get a medal after a gruelling 40 kilometre points race.  He and his teammates came in 4th for the 4000m team race.

We think it’s really cool he did cycling.
