To finish off our Unit of Inquiry about animal classification we went to the Auckland Zoo!  We hopped on the bus first thing in the morning and when we got to the Zoo we had our morning tea.  We had a little bit of time to explore some of the animals with our group and our parent helper.  After that we had our session with Fraser, one of the zoo educators.  He talked to us about some of the animals they have at the zoo and we told him everything we have been learning about animal classification at school.  After lunch we had more time to explore the zoo in our groups and to visit our favourite animals.
