The Year 3 and 4 classes spent the day at Wakaaranga Estuary, and Pigeon Mountain wetlands earlier this week. We went to the estuary so that we could make observations and learn about the life cycle of mangroves.

Have you ever been to the estuary and tasted mangrove leaves? We recommend that you go down to the Wakaaranga estuary and explore. If you have a kayak you can get very close to the mangroves. You never know what you’ll find.
