Last Friday the 26th of February, the Senior School and some of Room 16 went to Howick Intermediate for the swimming sports. W went on bus and I had my sister as a parent helper. I sat next to my sister on the way there and we were sitting in the very front. I hopped off with excitement ready to win. We were getting closer to the swimming pool and a burst of happiness ran up my spine. I wasn’t feeling nervous. It was a LONG wait before we raced. Then finally my age group got called and it was the stroke I liked best. Remembering my technique I swam the rest of my races this way. Remembering that technique is most important. I won all my heats. I got into all finals and won them too. I cheered loudly for all my friends and it’s safe to say we had a wonderful fun and sun filled day.
