On Friday, midday we went to Howick Intermediate for our swimming sports. We did a few races and then we watched other races. There were butterflies in my stomach doing the flutterboard.   They were races across the pool. It was a hot sunny day. We sat outside Howick Intermediate because our bus was a bit late. The race that I went in was 8 year old freestyle.   I felt butterflies in my stomach. There was a race for 8 year old boys who could do any style they wanted then they hopped  out the the pool.  I felt energised doing the flutterboard races. I felt awesome doing the races.  We were there for two hours and we were also thirty minutes late back to school.  I had lots of fun doing the swimming sports.
