On Thursday the 26th of May all the Year 5s went to Motat. My favourite thing was the train tracks under where we ate. There was a furnace and we threw chunks of wood into the furnace. They had to warm up a lot of water to create steam. We got to have a seat on the tram. The driver said the tram was 110 years old. He said it went up to 50km an hour. It was a city tram.

What a great story. I wish I had followed you underneath the stand to see the train. I was so happy that you shared your picture of it with me later. Lovely story Xavier. Keep up the great work and thank you for sharing your Motat trip with us.
