Room 2 all wore an item of pink on Friday to support their school as being a bully-free school during Bully-free week. We made a paddle for the waka and decided that caring and kindness to others would be the values we would adhere to. The other side of our paddle said “Kia Kaha” – be strong. We won’t stand by and do nothing if we see someone being bullied. During the week reading articles and stories about bullying has been part of our reading programme.
