Recently most of  Room 2 have been making different creations using LittleBits. One of our own creations was making a torch. We had to try and figure out how to make it ourselves. 

We used a Plastic cup, Polystyrene cup, Bright LED, 3 Rubber Bands, A Button, Extension cord, The Main Power Switch, wire and a cardboard roll.  This required a little bit of experimenting because we had to choose a suitable cup for the light to shine brightly enough. My group chose the polystyrene cup. It was a little confusing at first but we made it. We connected every piece to the battery and wire. Once we switched the main power switch and pressed the button the light shone. I was happy. 

I have enjoyed this activity because you had to figure out how it worked.
