Biomass Energy

Biomass energy is a type of natural energy.  It is the second-most-common form of renewable energy in the United States.   It is providing enough to power more than two million homes. The energy is made by waste from our food that we eat.  When we decompose the trash it gives out methane.   Methane is a gas.  It is used to run a small jet engine to produce electricity.  A machine called a digester turns the methane into electricity.
