Out of Zone enrolments Term 3 2024 – applications close Tuesday 18 June 2024

The board invites applications from parents who wish to enrol their children at Bucklands Beach Primary School in Term 3 2024
Enrolment at the school is governed by an enrolment scheme, details of which are available from the school office.
Applications are to be made online here.
The deadline for receipt of applications for out-of-zone places is 3pm Tuesday 18th June 2024.
The board has determined that 10 places will likely be available for out-of-zone students in Term 3 2024.
The exact number of places will depend on the number of applications received from students who live within the school’s home zone.
If the number of out-of-zone applications exceeds the number of places available, students will be selected by ballot. If a ballot is required, it will be held on Wednesday 19th June 2024.
We are also accepting enquiries for Term 4 and 2025. Acceptance is subject to availability in classrooms and year groups.

Tēnā koutou katoa,

Welcome to Bucklands Beach Primary School. My name is Kelly Slater-Brown and I am delighted to be the Principal at Bucklands Beach Primary School (B.B.P.S.).

B.B.P.S. is a high performing school with a very strong vision that is clearly and consistently expressed by staff and students. We foster the development of lifelong, independent learning skills, a strong understanding of our responsibility and role in caring for and interacting with our environment, alongside a rich and varied curriculum.   We enjoy a rich mix of diverse cultures.

The school strives to achieve high levels of academic success especially in the key focus areas of literacy and numeracy. Our aim is that all students leave the school with a strong sense of self-belief and a commitment to be a well-rounded citizen of the world.

There is a strong spirit of community at B.B.P.S., with interested parents and enthusiastic students.  We value strong home-school partnerships, and know these form the basis of students reaching their full potential.

We look forward to working with you to optimise your child’s school experience.

Ngā mihi nui

.

Kelly Slater-Brown, Principal
