Firstly, a big “Welcome Back” to all our school families from your PTA.

2016 promises to be an exciting year with the finishing of the artificial turf project on the top field in just a couple of weeks – (a 2014/2015 PTA Fundraiser initiative)

Our first PTA Meeting next Tuesday 9th February at 7.30pm in the Staffroom.

  • As our AGM looms on the 10th May there will be some positions in the current PTA Executive team that will become vacant. The time for a change allows fresh ideas and new energy to be introduced to the committee so if you have ever thought about becoming part of an integral team at your children’s school; make new friends; make a difference for your children; become more involved in your school community, then please consider joining this team. The time allocation can be as much as you want it to be – and successful projects and fundraisers are very rewarding! Grab like-minded friends and come along to next week’s meeting to meet us all and get a feel for what it is all about!
  • At this meeting we would also like to put together our fundraising agenda for 2016. If you have any novel ideas for fundraisers please come along to the meeting or if you can’t then please email the PTA on bbpspta@vodafone.co.nz to put forward your ideas for 2016 which we will discuss at our meeting.

Lastly, its third time lucky….the last PTA fundraiser of 2015 was cancelled twice because of the weather and the long awaited ‘Family Fun Night’ has been rescheduled for Friday 11th March 2016. Last year we received many offers of help for this night and we will be in touch with you all soon in hope that you are still available to help us. If anyone can afford a small (or large) amount of time on the night to help us please contact us on bbpspta@vodafone.co.nz
