Room 1 have been focussing their skills on developing their art techniques. Firstly, they have completed some research on the range of the colours of water. There are many names for the colour blue ranging from sapphire to aqua. The technique they focussed on is blocking out windows on a painted recycled chalk board and then mix and careful produce one brush direction downwards. Next they produced some stunning Block art showing windows of blue. These are proudly displayed in our classroom.
The last artwork to be completed was showing shade of one colour on canvas. The art technique used was the dry stipple brush technique which was quick and easy to complete. Take a look!
