Year 6 Camp 2016 – only 1 week to go!
Dear Parents/Caregivers
There is only one week left for all preparations, so it is important you read this now!
Our camp is fast approaching and preparations are well underway. The year 6 students have worked together to pitch the tents we will be using for the over night survival stay. Have a look at the photos of them on the school website.
We require 6 extra 3-4 person tents and are hoping to borrow these as well as 36 bedrolls to lie on the ground in the tents underneath the sleeping bags.
If you are able to lend us any of these items we would be very grateful and will ensure they are looked after.
Please contact your child’s teacher to let them know what you are able to supply.
A reminder that payment for camp is due before the start of Term 2. If you need to pay by installments, please see Mrs Bayer in the school office.
The school holidays will be a good opportunity to prepare all the equipment requirements for your child.
All medication will need to be named clearly and placed in a sealed plastic bag with your child’s name and room number on it. This will be handed to Doctor Thompson on the morning of departure.
