Recently fourteen students entered the 2016 Weetbix Tryathlon held at St Heliers’ Vellenoweth Green.  Among the entrants were Kendall and Victoria members of Room 2.  For this event all competitors had to swim, bike and complete a run, the distances depending on the entrants age.  Each age group was marked by a different coloured cap and all competitors had their number on their arm.  Victoria had an orange cap while Kendall wore a yellow cap.  Many of our Year 6 students competed with a light blue cap.

The weather was brilliant and the day was warm but not too hot.  Every entrant received a medal for their efforts and an iceblock.  Breakfast was provided for the competitors as many entered the reserve from 6:30 to secure a good spot to park their bikes.
