On Friday the 26th of February it was the Senior School swimming sports. We went to Howick Intermediate. It wasn’t a long ride and it was a very sunny day. When we got there, there was so much beautiful grass but it was kind of itchy. Then Miss Redpath called 9 year old girls. That was me. When it was my turn I pushed off from the wall and I zoomed through the shiny diamond water. It was very cold. My whole body was numb and that made me slow down. It was very cold . It was so cold it felt like the Antarctic Ocean. Then I got out and joined my whanau to watch the other races.
