Summer Description

I’m standing in a pool of chlorine water
That’s sloshing all around my floating cocktail
That’s as red as coral
And as healthy as a young man from Hollywood.
The hot sun is like a blanket sinking into the water, making patterns
On the shiny marble floor that’s an ivory shade.
My neck turned a shade between red and pink
So I put on some spray-on sunscreen
So the sun couldn’t burn me.
I was feeling as tired as a hibernating bear
So I swam to a floaty bed and rested for what felt like an hour.
Then my mum’s bellowing voice called for me to have my favourite dinner!
Macaroni cheese!
