On Thursday 26th of May, the Senior School went to Motat which is a working museum. That would mean some things move around in the museum. On the way to Motat, Sophia, Raymond Jan and I played I spy. The hardest question for them was probably the number plate one that I did. When we got to Motat we met our educator Abby. She talked a bit about Motat and then she led us all the way to our meeting place. On our way to the meeting place I saw a huge black steam train and I told Raymond who was in my group, that it looked like Hogwart’s Express from the Harry Potter movies. When we got to the meeting place Abby talked a bit more about what we were going to do and she gave the parents a timetable. We all had a small snack. After that my foot was asleep.

We all went into our groups and started exploring. I was in my Dad’s group along with Sophia, Raymond, Connor, Alex F and Shaan. The first place we explored was about the body and it was called ‘The Marvellous Body.’  We first went towards the nose and we had to walk through the nose hairs …  EW! And we also had to take a picture next to it. I was stuck in the nose hairs so I made a disgusted smile face. We all went through the nose to find out about the lungs. Did you know that gravity helps the blood drain away from a hand that is held high for 1 minute?  It will change the color of your hand. Try it if you want.

After that we went to the mouth game called Stinky Toilet. When we got on the slide that was part of the game, I learnt this fact: Saliva softens our food so teeth can chew and rip. Down my oesophagus food must slip. It’s a interesting fact about the mouth in my opinion.
