The Year Fives went to Motat on Thursday.  We were looked after by a lady called Abby.  We first went to an area that had lots of activities and there was one that let you put on headphones and listen to animal sounds.  There was an exhibit about how your body parts work.

Later on we got to go to see the trams.  There was a steam engine that there’s only 3 of these left  in the world.  We got to throw wood into the fire.  We went on one of the trams and the stairs were very thin. Then we went to go to have lunch.  After lunch we went to lots of places like the pump house which was made in 1877.  Next we went to the fire station and it had lots things in it like a tip top machine and lots of types of chainsaws.  Then we went to a couple of houses that had lots of creepy things in them  such as mannequins and dolls. Finally we went back to our bags to leave.   It was a really good experience.
