Could you be the next chair of our PTA?
If you (and/or a friend) wanting to contribute more to your child’s school or to become more involved with the school, then please feel free to come and talk to me about the Chairperson position on the PTA.
A good, well managed PTA is a fundamental must for a strong community focused school. The PTA allows parents to support the school in a very positive and proactive way, and is an essential component of a healthy and happy school community.
We are encouraging a change in the way the PTA operates this year so that we get the wider community involved in running the events, and share the load with the PTA Executive team.
The Chairpersons role is supported by the Treasurer and the Secretary of which both positions have been successfully filled.
The main objective of the PTA is to
- provide a link between the pupils, their families and the School
- and to raise funds to support the goals of the Schools Strategic plan.
It is the Chairperson’s role to
- To lead and guide the PTA and truly represent the will of the organisation
- To chair all meetings in a productive and professional (but friendly and relaxed) manner
- Have fun!
