On Sunday in Howick there was a Santa Parade. People from all over our area came to watch and join in. The Bucklands Beach Primary School girls went as Elves and the boys went as chubby, cheerful Santas. It was hot and my elf stockings were itchy. We walked in the parade down the main street and waved at all the people watching us. There were lots of people there. At the end of the parade Santa came on his float. I can’t wait for Christmas! It was fun walking with our school but very hot! We looked great! I had an ice cream at the end!
