Toot! The whistle blew and the year 3s ran as fast as cheetahs. Liam and I were in the top three already when Blake and Felix caught up but luckily Blake stayed behind us and unluckily Felix got ahead of me and I followed him for the rest of the way. Guess what … his shoe came off! So Liam and I sprinted as fast as we could to become 1st and 2nd. That was lucky because now my biggest threat of running is Liam and Liam and I were having a run off and we were neck and neck. In the end Liam bet me by half a second and he finally came first on the leaderboard.
