Bucklands Beach Primary School offer a pre-school programme for helping children towards the transition into the primary school setting.
We are now taking enrolments for 4-year old children who wish to join this new programme.
Tuesday afternoons from 1.30pm – 3pm.
Term time for 8 weeks
2011:
- For information regarding Smart Start, please contact the school office.
- Cost $12.50 per week – 8 sessions per term ($100 per term paid in advance on enrolment).
- All materials supplied including a digital learning centre to take home
- Qualified teacher and teacher aide
- Small class size
Each term there will be a theme that will be integrated to cover the following:
Literacy and Numeracy
- Alphabet – recognition of letters and sounds
- Writing
- Counting, shapes, proportions etc…
Social skills
- Development of routines
- Responding to expectations.

Please note your child does not have to be enrolled to start at our school to attend this programme, however, children intending to start at BBPS will be given first priority.
