The temperature is rising dramatically over the past years. The reason this is caused is because of greenhouse gases. It is called the greenhouse gas effect.
The greenhouse gas effect is being caused by cars, factories, burning fuel or oil and fires. Cows are also part of this problem. The carbon dioxide in the air is trapping the heat and the temperature is rising.
The ice polar caps are going to melt and the water levels will rise dramatically as a result and many islands will be covered with water.
