We love to scooter!

Many children at BBPS walk or scooter to school, we know how important it is for our health and the environment. Many of us meet our friends before school so that we can scooter together. Our teachers encourage those children who are dropped off at school to walk the last kilometre. Some children are dropped off down the road because they live many kilometres away, but they still want to make the most of the fresh air.
Room 4 worked out that if a child, who was being transported to the peninsula, scootered the last kilometre to school and was picked up at that same spot in the afternoon, the parent could be saving 4 kilometres of petrol.
How much petrol is that per week? How much per term? Every year?
