A community of agile and collaborative learners – Proud of who we are, empowered to make a difference

Kia Ora, Nǐ hǎo, Hallo, Greetings,

We are almost there!  Thank you to all of the parents who were able to come to our open afternoon to see the amazing art produced around the school.  The students were quite fascinated to learn about different artists and their life stories.  If you weren’t able to come in, I have posted lots of pictures on the school Facebook page.

We sadly farewell Julie (more like a slow retreat).   Julie will be back early next year to show the new office manager the ropes (when they are appointed) before she settles into retirement.  We also wish Charlotte Wilson the best of luck in her new job and know she will enjoy spending less time on the road!

I would like to acknowledge our amazing staff who have been incredibly adaptable and dug deep to sustain learning over the year.  I’d also like to acknowledge our PTA and BOT who just quietly get on with a range of work behind the scenes supporting us to provide the best experiences possible for our students.  Finally I would like to acknowledge our wider whānau who have supported us in so many ways over the year.  Our strong community is such as asset.

Have an amazing Christmas and well deserved break.

Swimming Pool keys

Swimming pool keys are still available for hire from the school office until 12 noon on Tuesday 15 December.  $80 per key of which $10 is refundable at the end of the season.

We require another 2 parents to assist with the pool over the summer break.  Are you going to be around and wouldn’t mind going on a roster to keep the pool area clean and tidy?  If so, please contact the school office.  Thank you for your support.
