Fancy Feet Day
On Wednesday, Room 9 went on a bus to the Howick Historical Village.
In Room 9, we have been designing, developing and evaluating toasted sandwiches.
Room 9 was lucky to hear Bruce Kendall talk about his experiences at the Olympics! We got to see the two medals he won in the 1984 and 1988 Olympic games and ask lots of questions.
Room 9 went to the Auckland Museum in term 2. The children got to explore the different exhibitions and had a lesson on Matariki.
In Room 9 we made an acrostic poem using our name. We used interesting words to describe us or things that we like.
Today we made kites for Matariki. Kites were seen as connectors between heaven and earth, and were often flown at this event, especially on the first day of the New Year.
Come check out what we did on Green Day in Room 9!
