Assembly

Assembly is held each Friday in the hall.

It starts at 2:30pm and runs for approximately half an hour. Parents, caregivers and members of the community are welcome to attend.
The National Anthem is sung, certificates are awarded, notices are passed on, a song is sung and a class presents an item demonstrating some aspect of their learning.

Sports Captains and students involved in other activities at school have the opportunity to speak to the school community about their team's results, upcoming events and celebrate successes.
Assembly is hosted by the winning whanau leaders so four different leaders have a turn each week.
Audio-Visual Monitors are in charge of the ICT presentations, microphones and sound equipment. The winning whanau is rewarded for winning the most Gotcha Awards the previous week and get to sit on the bleachers.
