On behalf of the board I’d like to let all of our parents know that our principal, Dorothy Bigwood, will be leaving us on Friday 21st October, just prior to Labour Weekend. Dorothy has been successful in stepping into a new role of principal at Cockle Bay School and the Board of Trustees would like to wish her all the best in this new challenge.
Dorothy has been an outstanding principal and has ably guided BBPS during her 9 year tenure. The school is in great shape and whilst we are sad to be losing someone of her calibre this is an exciting opportunity for someone new to step up and help BBPS to continue its journey.
The board will be embarking on a selection process as soon as possible and will ensure that the school is in good hands during any interim phase.
