Dear Families

Junior Pet Day

The junior team will be having a “Pet Day” on Friday 4th March.

It is a fun session to give your child the opportunity to have their pet at school for the first hour and fifteen minutes of the day.

Pets will need to be on a leash or be contained in an appropriate way so they do not escape or become involved with other animals! Make sure you bring along a clean up bag for ‘nature calls’.

The pets need to arrive at school after 9am and be assembled in the following areas by 9:10am:

         Dogs

Outside around the quad by Rooms 7 and 8 with posts and seats to tie to.

Y 1 Soft Toys

Room 7

Y 2 Soft Toys

Room 8

Birds / Fish / Turtles

Room 9

Guinea Pigs / Rabbits

Room 10

Mice

Room 11

Cats

Room 12

Other unusual pets will be allocated a place!

The children will spend some time visiting the areas to look at the pets before we have a pet parade at about 9:45 am.

So that no child will feel left out, those children whose pet cannot attend the parade will receive a large heart shape to take home and decorate with a photo of their pet. Those who do not have pets could bring a soft toy pet (labeled with the owner’s name). They can carry this heart, or soft toy, in the parade.

We anticipate that it will be all over by 10:15am. We look forward to seeing you there.

Kind regards

Junior Team
